After catching up with Jamie and yourself in Beijing, I thought I would see Jamies website about his new elevation chair, and also found your Blog.

Great reading mate! I do want to clarify a couple of things for you as an independant witness (even though I am an old Aussie basketballer)

1. Playing an extra 10 minutes or final 2 x 5 minutes of OT of the intensity of Canada and USA had, on top of the already intense 40 minutes of basketball was going to require a minimum of 3 days rest to get you back to appropriate rest levels – so I can understand your tireness as being a key factor in the final
- If only we had a day of rest between our games like in the Olympics

2. Troy is everything you said and lots more you didnt. My last words to him were in 2000 and they included lots of F’s and not one compliment – what a shame talent with a destructive and abusive personality

- for so many people who dont know him he looks like a star but for others a star is someone with humility, grace, skill and the ability to smile in defeat and share in victory. You my friend have that – Karma comes to those who dont

3. No matter what you do in the future good luck. I hate Jazz and I love the thought you put stuff onto Jamie as captain. Frogley Bowes, Duapos etc could all be Australia as you are all quality people even after the dust settles on the basketball court

Canada be proud of your team as they represented you with pride and determination…….All the best

So i came across an article in the good ole Ferg-Elora News Express, mentioning your latest achievements in Beijing.

I’m very pleased to know you’ve gone so far and are simultaneously pursuiong music.

I’ve done a nunber of things since high school, leading up to and forming my beliefs in standing for justice for Palestinians.

I don’t know why I’m plaguing you with this, except that these days I am just so sad and frustrated with trying to get people to see a very clear picture, that of a caged and oppressed people fighting for a semblance of justice and livelihood.

And since you’re in China…well, there are certainly correlations.

Best to you and congrats on everything you’ve achieved.

I can’t believe I stumbled upon this website! I’m not sure if you remember me, but we had a brief encounter on the flight from Frankfurt to Chicago on the 16th of June – I was heading to Minnesota and you and the team were heading to Birmingham.
